Although every message I've received has been thrilling for me, I selected the following because they show the variety of responses.
First, I'm going to use this opportunity to thank everyone who has visited www.matthewbooks.com and taken advantage of the introductory offer of free downloading the texts. I know I haven't heard from all of you (the site visitor report is huge -- and that's SO gratifying!) and can't express my appreciation individually for your interest in the books. I really want to THANK YOU *again* so much for these books and then to be able to download them free. What Joy!! They confirm and confirm other channeled information about the many subjects covered in the Matthew books. One subject of so many, is how the controllers changed the Bible. Truly great information and confirmations. Truth, when known, gives such joy. Also, I enjoy the words that Matthew has chosen to express ideas so difficult to express to our finite minds. This is really important, the right words. I really am so impressed with this wonderful wisdom. So needed on earth today. I am on page 123 in the first book. My eyes get tired, so take a bit at a time.
Your questions are very down to earth and are the kinds of questions that many not schooled in a lot of Internet surfing over years plus other spiritual reading or background, etc. - need in order to get some understanding of the 'other side'. An Islam Much Forgotten

JERUSALEM -- Outside my window, I hear the sirens of ambulances transporting the dozens of victims of the latest suicide bombing, offered for the glory of God and Islam. From the Palestinian village across the road comes the muezzin's call to prayer, which for some Jews has become a reminder of violence and murder. However tempting, I resist that linkage, because I've known a different Islam.
In the year before the current intifada began, I undertook a pilgrimage of religious empathy to my Muslim neighbors, visiting mosques in Gaza, the West Bank and Israel. Though clearly identified by my skullcap as a religious Jew, I was invited to join the Muslim prayer line. My goal wasn't to blur the borders between faiths but to test whether Muslims and Jews could share a common language of devotion and transform religion into an instrument of peace rather than holy war. The faltering Oslo process had tried to reconcile secularized Israeli and Palestinian elites, ignoring the centrality of faith among our two peoples; I was searching for a dialogue of the heart.
Despite the anti-Jewish incitement that would soon help ignite the intifada, I found eager partners - mostly among the Sufis, or Muslim mystics, on the periphery of Palestinian Islam. One sheik dismissed rival Israeli and Palestinian territorial claims by insisting that the land belongs to neither side, only to God, echoing a rabbinic teaching.
In showing reverence for Islam, I was able to elicit a reciprocal gesture from some Muslims, who acknowledged that the return of the Jews to Israel wasn't a colonialist imposition but in accord with the will of God.
The culmination of my journey occurred during the festival of Lailat al-Miraj, the night Muslims believe that Muhammad ascended to heaven from Jerusalem. I was invited to join services in a little Sufi mosque located in Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp. The building was so forlorn that it lacked a minaret; its narrow prayer room could barely hold 50 worshipers. Eight years earlier, during the Israeli occupation, I'd served as a reservist soldier in Nuseirat, the heartland of Islamic extremism, and had been hit in the head with a rock while on patrol near the mosque.
Now, together with the mosque's devotees, I participated in the Sufi service known as zikr, or remembrance of God's presence. For perhaps an hour we chanted, leapt and rapidly exhaled in a dance of controlled ecstasy, celebrating God's oneness and the mystic's transcendence over human fragmentation.
Since the violence intensified last September, the conciliatory - and sadly marginal - voices within Palestinian Islam have been intimidated into silence. Clergy on Palestinian television urge the faithful to kill Jews, while children in white shrouds, with simulated bombs, march in processions of martyrdom. My Muslim friends are unable to publicly express their shame as their faith is sullied.
Today, my forays into Palestinian Islam seem like fantasies. Islam has once again become untouchable, pervasive and elusive as air. Many Arab Muslims, encouraged by official media and leading clergy, now embrace a medieval kind of hatred of Jews. While religious extremists are hardly lacking among Jews, Israeli society has repudiated their theology and their actions; not so with the Palestinian mainstream. And while no Israeli leader denies the sanctity of Jerusalem for Islam, Palestinian leaders have repudiated the historical connection between Jerusalem and the Jewish people.
Still, my religious journey taught me that Islam contains those qualities necessary for peacemaking - humility before God and an acute and fearless awareness of mortality. I know that Jews and Muslims can share wisdom, if not doctrine. Even as suicide bombers explode in our streets, and as Israel confronts a war that is being forced upon it, I recall the Muslim mystics who opened their doors and their hearts to me, and I refuse to despair.

Whilst raising in excess of £100 million for charities around the world, Spirit Aid will create inspiration in people’s lives. It will demonstrate how through the power of the human spirit we can lead happy and abundant lives, free from fear, poverty and injustice.
Spirit Aid is about a celebration of life, fun, laughter; the inherent goodness in people to show love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness.
Music
The centre piece of the event will naturally be the live music performances. We are inviting many of the world’s best known bands, singers, and musicians to take part.
Messages
The messages will be given by children, world leaders, international celebrities, and authors that will reflect the essence and spirit of this special event. We are inviting the world’s most prominent peacemakers, spiritual teachers and religious leaders of all faiths.
And Maybe even Miracles
The miracle of the weekend will be the millions of people around the globe pledging and raising the many millions of pounds that will be used to help the poor and underprivileged of our planet, those devastated by war, hunger and persecution in our midst.
Children
Children of the world will be a major feature of the event, as they express their hopes and dreams for the world they wish to inherit and the respect and equality they deserve now. Their stories will be told. The artists and world leaders taking part will be led on stage and introduced by these children.
World Peace Village
We intend also to create a ‘World Peace Village’ in our city for one week leading up to the event for all cultures of the world to meet and celebrate through music, discussion and workshops.
We are inviting the group of indigenous Tribal Elders who are attached to the United Nations to make live declarations of intent on our behalf to safeguard the badly damaged and fragile ecosystems of our world before it is too late.
Constantly throughout the weekend, beamed in by satellite will be reports of the many miracles and signs of hope that are happening daily around us in all cultures of the world, stressing that we are all one on our journey on this planet.
It will be about our commonality not our differences!
It will be about our generosity not our greed!

An Invitation to Humanity
We all live on a stunning blue-green planet, our Mother Earth. She has breathtaking beauty and a startling diversity of life. She provides everything that we need to sustain us as she floats in a remote spiral of the Milky Way.
There are over 6 billion humans alive on earth at this point.
For a minority life is good, it is fruitful. The years from birth to death offer what every life should. It is safe, it is comfortable; laughter and abundance are part of daily life.
There is health and happiness, creativity and honest endeavour. Freedom of expression - personal, political, creative, and spiritual - are accepted and acknowledged. Human Rights and democratic freedoms are regarded as normal.
However, for the vast majority of us on our planet - billions of people – life is constant hell on earth. It is a fierce and brutal struggle for survival.
Fear is the most powerful force in the lives of these people.
Billions of people live with poverty as a reality - two billion of them earn less than one dollar a day.
In the United Kingdom alone, 11-13 million people live below the poverty line, including 2 out of every 5 children. This is a rich, developed, Western country of 56 million people, not a drought stricken, war ravaged far away place.
Hundreds of millions worldwide face the daily threat of persecution, abuse and even annihilation. These millions have no access to any form of justice, let alone safety.
Fifty million people have been displaced by war and ethnic conflict. Their homes, their communities, the very fabric of their lives destroyed by horrific acts of violence. Their cultures are barely intact as they struggle for survival and dignity in vast refugee camps – if they are lucky enough to find one.
Countless millions of others live at the mercy of the constantly changing and unpredictable extremes of weather, geological upheavals, and environmental swings that are increasing at an alarming rate. Due to the systematic destruction of the fragile ecosystems of our home, caused by industrial and consumer greed around the world, all of us are now facing this prospect.
For example, 13 million tonnes of toxic chemicals are released into the atmosphere every day.
130 species are driven to extinction every day.
200,000 acres of rainforest are destroyed every day.
There is a large and growing body of opinion within the world’s scientific community that believes, at this rate of depletion we face the extinction of our entire species within a few generations.
Children
At the heart of all the desolation, deprivation, and unnecessary deaths in our midst are the children - New Young Life - our investment in the future of our species and our planet.
Young and innocent, they are alive with hopes and dreams for the richness and excitement of lives that lie ahead of them. They dream of the safety that should be theirs by right, of care, nurturing and support that all lives need. They dream of respect and dignity.
It is a dream held in the very heartbeat of every child.
It is a yearning for the love of humankind.
Every year, 130 million young lives are created.
14 million of them will starve to death.
1 million of them will be sold into sex slavery.
2.2 million of them will end up living on the streets of our cities.
31 million will have no access to safe drinking water.
Over half a million of them will contract AIDS.
13 million of them will be orphaned by AIDS.
26,000 people will be killed by landmines, the majority of them children.
In conflict, two children die for every soldier.
The shattering of innocence continues.
Hope
But there is Hope.
People around the world are beginning to awaken and realise that we cannot continue to destroy life the way we do. That we live on this planet together.
There is a huge and growing movement in the world that believes that life is sacred. All life. That each life is a gift of creation. That even though we do not own our children or the children of the world, it is the responsibility of each and every adult to nurture that life to the best of our knowledge, and our skills, and our wisdom.
We must believe and accept that each new life deserves respect for the very gift that it is.
We are all the guardians of future life on this planet and we should never forget, we do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children.
Let us at least strive to give back to them a planet that is healthy and abundant and clean.
Together we can choose to give back to them a world where peace prevails over violence.
Where compassion prevails over inhumanity.
Where kindness prevails over greed.
Where justice prevails over abuse.
Where learning prevails over ignorance.
Where truth prevails over secrecy.
Where freedom prevails over slavery.
Where laughter prevails over tears.
We can make a choice to care – to change the moral concept of the world we live in. We can make that choice today.
Together we can set in motion the change that will transform the future of our planet and the future for our children.
It is very simple.
Let us choose Love and not Fear.

The Spirit Aid Charity
Spirit Aid, the charity, will manage distribution of the funds created from the event.
The funds will be distributed within the following areas.
Children International Aid Health
Education Environment Caring
Homeless Land Mines Peace
Refugees Human Rights Fair Trade
Aged Spiritual Development Ethics
For the distribution, a team of charitable experts within each area will determine which projects to fund.
As well as the usual Patrons, Trustees, and Directors that make up an organisational structure of a charity, Spirit Aid will also appoint a number of Ambassadors and Envoys.
Ambassadors will be individuals in recognised public positions of responsibility who have the desire and influence to further the objectives of the charity. Envoys can be anyone in the world who chooses to formally act on behalf of Spirit Aid.
The Spirit Aid board of Directors will appoint Ambassadors. Envoys will be self-appointed.
The Spirit Aid charity will be accountable to everyone in the world since its main fundraising exercise is a global event. The internet will be used as a vehicle to show the monies received, overheads incurred and the levels of distribution made. An open book policy on all accounting issues will be employed.

Considering that the Average Child in the USA has a few Hg 'Silver' tooth cavity fillings, and that bacteria in the tooth-to-amalgam interface are making Methyl Mercury IN SITU, the small additional Mercury insult from ungreen batteries in dumps and landfill is probably a minor contribution to the Mad-Hatter-ing of AMERICA.
The Japanese have followed up on various (including American) discoveries in Conductive Plastics for years, and have both Plastic and Plastic Recharge-able consumer product batteries, which are prevented, by our Big Brother Gov't protectionism of domestic corporate gangsterism, from entering the North American and European business Co-Prosperity Spheres of Influence!
Since Children these days are raised to associate CO2 with Dangerous Poisoning of the Earth, and don't seem to be aware of the inherent vastly higher immediate toxicity of CO (compare with PCB versus Dioxin toxicity), it is quite possible that most children do NOT know the Neural/ Sensory hazard which Methyl Mercury entails.
Green Thinking has propagated blurry thinking which any Gov't worth its Kickbacks welcomes, in the General Populace.
Green Concerns are often diverting attention from dangerous, health destroyers like Lead brain-damaging and Diesel NickelCarbonylSoot lung-damaging to far less dangerous - or least, less widespread in concentrated form DDT, PCB's and FREONS ...

This sounds very slanted toward Democrats - suspiciously so. 5 of 6 Republicans had a lower IQ than Lyndon Johnson, who had the lowest of the Democrats? Sounds fishy.
In a search for Lovenstein Institute, Scranton PA, all I found was pages about this "study". Can you check with your source and see if this Institute has a web page?
Oh, wait...more results are in as we speak, and I am starting to smell a scam...
