Hello everyone

The world's attention is riveted on what is going on in the Middle East. Although many fear all hell could break loose over there, my deep hunch is that things will turn out OK and peace in the Middle East, an uneasy one for sure at first, will be celebrated all over the world shortly. The Greek root of "crisis" means choice. Now is the time to choose peace over the insanity of war. Now is the time to open the Gates of Love within our hearts and shower the people living there with the healing power of this God-given gift we all have within our souls.

Now is the time to *BE* who we are...

P.S. Regarding the Middle East conflict there are 2 resources that came to my attention and that may be of interest to those who want to find out more sides of the story than what is generally reported in most media.

- News and comments on Middle East affairs, compiled by journalists at the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (who are openly and adamantly supporting Israel). This site describing the situation as seen from the Israeli perspective is at http://www.icej.org/

- To get the latest news on what the Palestinians call the "Alquds Battle" and as seen from their perspective, with names and pictures of those they call martyrs, visit http://www.sis.gov.ps/arabic/quds/quds_en.html

Mideast Diplomacy Intensifies As Violence Goes On
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - International efforts to end turmoil in the Middle East redoubled on Monday but violence showed no sign of abating as an Israeli deadline neared for Palestinians to halt a wave of protests. U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan was to travel to Israel to try to use personal diplomacy to end 11 days of bloodshed in which at least 84 people, most of them Palestinians and including children, have been killed in clashes with Israeli forces. The United States and Russia stepped up their own frantic efforts. But Jewish settlers attacked Israeli Arabs' homes in northern Israel late on Sunday, killing at least one Arab and undermining hopes that violence would end before an Israeli deadline expires on Monday at the end of the Yom Kippur holiday. Love has no rival

What on Earth is most worthy of our attention? What is most worthy of our minds’ focus? The struggle for economic advantage over one another has created social, political, and environmental devastation. Now we want to transform this heavy darkness into a consciously created life of peace and joy for all. How do we collectively create the world we want?

We have been co-creating our collective experiences of life, while knowing the solutions to our problems are within us. We know the solution is in loving all the world as ourself. And we know our love can manifest blissfully cooperative relationships.

Love, in its glorious eternal peaceful joy and harmonious beauty, has no rival. To focus on love is to hold sacred our most precious treasure, sharing our heaven within, and in so doing, manifesting heaven on earth.

Dear Jean,

Allow me to share with you and your readers the following message which was sent by me earlier today.

My heart is going out to all my friends, brothers & sisters of the two societies are suffering and directly involved in what is taking place in the Middle-East, especially to those I work with to built up bridges of peace. In such a painful situation sometimes we need to be very careful while choosing words but as I learnt, never judge anybody in pain and sorrow. By now I already know that there is no only one absolute truth, there is no "real facts", it is all part of our own creation, our illusionary needs to growth and to remember whom we really are.

As you may understand from the media, these last few days were not so peaceful & quiet to any of us who are involved in whatever way, if only by choosing to reincarnate here and now. I needed for a couple of days to remember what is it all about and to promise myself and remind others that is all part of the Divine Plan. It is nothing but many other illusions humanity still need to sense just before the final labor pains, the glory outburst of the Peace.

As was planned, I will hold to our original plan to visit Gaza on October 20-21 for another eyes to eyes meeting of Israelis and Palestinians will find it right thing to do deep in there hearts. I personally know no other way.

May us all pray for the peace labor be in less pain and more peaceful. Endless love

- Hagit

".....what should a nonviolent person do when he finds his friends, relations or countrymen refuse to give up an immoral way of life, and all arguments prove futile to evoke any response? An ahimsa-ite must not use a semblance of force to convert the wrong-doer. He even eschews the use of any harsh language. The first step is gentle and affectionate persuasion. When it fails to produce any salutary effect, voluntarily he invites suffering in his own body to open the eyes of the person who is determined to see no light."

A Chronology of Mahatma Gandhi's Fasts & His Reasons

(Hereafter was a comprehensive list of all the fasts Gandhi did from 1913 to 1948 when he last fasted in protest and to atone for communal riots.)

Very early in his life, Mohandas K. Gandhi began to appreciate the universality of religion. He described them as highways leading to the same destination. As a mark of his respect for all religions and for all human beings he incorporated into his daily prayer relevant hymns or daily prayers, but he influenced millions in India to use them also. All these selected passages have the underlying theme of PEACE.

"My effort should never be to undermine another's faith but to make him a better follower of his own faith."

Hindu Peace Prayer

I desire neither earthly kingdom, nor even freedom from birth and death. I desire only the deliverance from grief of all those afflicted by misery. Oh Lord, lead us from the unreal to the real; from darkness to light; from death to immortality. May there be peace in celestial regions. May there be peace on earth. May the waters be appeasing. May herbs be wholesome and may trees and plants bring peace to all. May all beneficient beings bring peace to us. May thy wisdom spread peace all through the world. May all things be a source of peace to all and to me. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti (Peace, Peace, Peace).

Islamic Peace Prayer

We think of Thee, worship Thee, bow to Thee as the Creator of this Universe; we seek refuge in Thee, the Truth, our only support. Thou art the Ruler, the barge in this ocean of endless births and deaths. In the name of Allah, the beneficient, the merciful. Praise be to the Lord of the Universe who has created us and made us into tribes and nations. Give us wisdom that we may know each other and not despise all things. We shall abide by thy Peace. And, we shall remember the servants of God are those who walk on this earth in humility and, when we address them, we shall say Peace Unto Us All.

Christian Peace Prayer

Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS, for they shall be known as The Children of God. But I say to you: love your enemy, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To those who strike you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from those who take away your cloak, do not withhold your coat as well. Give to everyone who begs from you; and, to those who take away your goods, do not ask them again. And as you wish that others would do unto you, do so unto them as well.

Jewish Peace Prayer

Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that we may walk the paths of the Most High. And we shall beat our swords into ploughshares and our spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation - neither shall they learn war any more. And none shall be afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken.

Shinto Peace Prayer

Although the people living across the ocean surrounding us are all our brothers and sisters why, Oh Lord, is there trouble in this world? Why do winds and waves rise in the ocean surrounding us? I earnestly wish the wind will soon blow away all the clouds hanging over the tops of the mountains.

Bahai Peace Prayer

Be generous in prosperity and thankful in adversity. Be fair in thy judgement and guarded in thy speech. Be a lamp unto those who walk in darkness and a home to the stranger. Be eyes to the blind and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring. Be a breath of life to the body of humankind, a dew to the soil of the human heart and a fruit upon the tree of humility.

Just in case you were wondering why they
won't let Ralph Nader into the presidential

"All of this increasing critique of corporate globalization -- we
should always use the adjective -- comes from a long overdue pattern
of research to discern the systems of control. Make no mistake about
it. Although the shibboleths of free trade are tossed in front of an
often misinformed media, the issue with the IMF and World Trade
Organization and World Bank is governance. It's the governance
systems for global corporations that we're really dealing with.

The fundamental issue we face is the autocratic systems of
governance that undermine democracy, that subordinate human
rights and the rights of people for decent standards of living and for
decent standards of justice. This is what is at stake here: Challenging
international systems of autocratic governance that serve,
overwhelmingly, the interests of giant global corporations who
dominate and seek to dominate everything in their path.

They want to dominate governments. They want to dominate the
workplace. They want to dominate the marketplace. They want to
dominate the universities by corporatizing them. They want to
dominate the very concept of childhood with their brazen
commercial exploitation of small children. They want to dominate
the shaping of the environment. They want to control the genes of
the natural world. They want to control the human genes. They want
to control the seeds. They want to control the future.

We have to make sure that this relentless drive for control by the
commercial instinct -- which every major religion in the world has
warned us about for two thousand years -- should never be given
excessive power. Because in its singular focus and drive and lack of
respect for other values, it destroys these other values in a paroxysm
of greed that implodes on itself."

In a move Ralph Nader called "the beginning of the end of the Commission on
Presidential Debates," the debate commission, along with three uniformed
police, refused to admit Nader to a televised viewing room, separate from
the presidential debate auditorium, even though Nader had a ticket to the
event and was invited by the media.

If you think that Ralph should be included in the debates then sign the
online petition. We have almost reached 100,000 signatures!

Nader has been packing stadiums all across the country with this new
political phenomenon. With audiences that dwarf the paltry public events of
the "major" party candidates, the energy of these rallies is testimony to
Ralph's dominance of the public political arena. Don't miss your chance to
be a part of history, get tickets to our Chicago or Madison Square Garden

Saturday Night Live tomorrow night (October 7). Invite ten of your friends

Dear Jean,

I have been on your mailing list for some time and your 'postings' on many
subjects. Thank you for the trouble you take/the time you spend to make
this information available to us all.

I believe you will be interested in the following web page for Credence

Day and "World Without Aids" by Steven Ransom and Phillip Day. I'm sure
you will not be too surprised at the horrific revelations these two books
because many of your correspondence has covered similar material such as
the truth about Aspartame, GE Modified foods etc etc.
