Subject: Special Meditation Alert as just forwarded to the Planetary Awakening Network

This is a suggested Meditation Alert

As everyone should be aware by now, the world is faced with yet another
round of warmongering threats and lots of sabre-ratling while, according to
the latest news report, there is a humanitarian disaster in progress right
now in Kosovo as thousands of people are running away from the advancing
Serbian army. A NATO air strike against Yugoslavia appears imminent (see
Reuters article below) with dire potential consequences of a wider regional

As Juliet Easton suggested (see below) in a letter yesterday, the war game
is unfolding as described in the 1996 Bilderberger report (posted at She also wrote
"I think it would be a good time to pray/meditate for the Serbian leaders".

I would certainly agree that we could all set aside a few minutes at noon
local time in the next few days to focus some healing energies and direct
Peace-and-Love rays of Light towards this area, each as guided from within.

If we are open also to the idea of the existence of a spiritual hierarchy
overseeing the evolutionary plan for humanity on Earth, we may also simply
direct all the positive energies we can channel towards them so it may then
be used in the most efficient manner to help bring about a peaceful and
healing resolution of this conflictual situation.

May Peace Prevail on Earth!

Kosovo Strife Worsens, Holbrooke In Last Peace Bid

By Kurt Schork

PRISTINA, Serbia (Reuters) - A fresh Serbian anti-guerrilla offensive and
the ambush murder of four policemen pitched Kosovo deeper into a vortex of
violence as U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke swung into a last-ditch peace

Holbrooke, architect of Bosnia's 1995 peace treaty and the broker of an
October cease-fire in Kosovo that later collapsed, was bound for Belgrade
to see President Slobodan Milosevic Monday, 10 days after the breakdown of
peace talks in Paris.

Holbrooke was to deliver a final warning to Milosevic to call off new
offensives in Kosovo, from which 70,000 civilians have fled in the past six
weeks, and accept a plan granting wide autonomy to the province's ethnic
Albanian majority.

If Milosevic spurns the message, NATO says it will be poised for air
strikes to cripple Belgrade's war machine, avert a looming new refugee
disaster and force the Serbs to accept a peace plan already signed by
ethnic Albanians.

Raising the stakes, a NATO official said in Brussels the alert time for
allied aircraft to strike had now been reduced from 48 hours to ``a matter
of just a few hours.''

As the likelihood of NATO intervention increased, both the warring parties
in Kosovo appeared to have gone on the offensive.

Four Serbian policemen were shot dead in a drive-by ambush in Pristina
Sunday night, increasing tension in Kosovo's capital which had largely been
spared the violence raging for more than a year elsewhere in the province,
Serb sources said.

``If it is starting in Pristina, it's going to be very dangerous for
everyone,'' a Serb source told Reuters.

Meanwhile, the guerrilla stronghold of Donje Prekaz burned Sunday as Serb
government forces backed by armor churned through the muddy village,
driving separatist guerrillas and ethnic Albanian civilians before them.

One soldier dressed in camouflage battle-dress flashed reporters a grin and
shouted: ``See what we're doing? When are the Americans coming?''

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said in Washington that Holbrooke
``will emphasize to President Milosevic that NATO air strikes against the
FRY (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) are being prepared,''

``He will make clear that Milosevic faces a stark choice -- to halt
aggression against the Kosovar Albanians and accept an interim (three-year)
settlement with a NATO-led implementation force, or bear the full
responsibility for the consequences of NATO military action,'' Albright

A Western demand to install a 28,000-strong NATO-led peacekeeping force in
Kosovo to enforce any peace deal has been the main sticking point for
Belgrade, which sees it as infringing Yugoslav sovereignty in the province.

Holbrooke was expected to see Milosevic Monday night after conferring with
NATO and European Union officials in Brussels.

President Clinton consulted on the situation by telephone Sunday afternoon
with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, French President Jacques Chirac and
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

A White House spokesman said the allied leaders ``reaffirmed NATO unity''
and reviewed the current state of affairs on the ground in Kosovo but would
give no details about their discussions.

Did you see Clinton's Presidential Address yesterday or hear about it? It
went right along with the Bilderberger report. He was justifying to the
American public why we might have to begin air strikes on the Serbs any day
now if they don't sign the peace agreement.

Several reporters asked why we wouldn't wait to see if there were any more
attacks on Kosovo before striking the Serbians, and he said that the Serbs
have already committed enough violence against Kosovo. I think it would be
a good time to pray/meditate for the Serbian leaders.

We should also keep in mind to focus some additional attention to help
maintain the now fragile balance of peace between the Israelian and

Although the information presented below comes from an Israelian source, it
clearly indicates the potential for a flare-up of passions and violence if
restraint is not shown on both sides of this delicate political equation.
It should also be mentioned that neither side can claim the higher moral

(communicated by the Israel Government Press Office)

The October 23, 1998 Wye River memorandum requires the Palestinian
Authority (PA) to "take all measures necessary in order to prevent acts
of terrorism, crime and hostilities directed against the Israeli side
and to prevent incitement." Nevertheless, senior PA officials and the
official PA media continue to incite violence against Israel, as the
following examples from the past three weeks illustrate:

"We carried out the longest intifada in history. They [the Israelis]
should know that we can start it again if they try to prevent us from
exercising our rights The state will be established with Jerusalem as
its capital whether they like it or not. If they don't like it they can

to stop us from exercising our rights, particularly that of proclaiming

PAN ALERT: Religious Violence

Date: Mon, 15 Mar 1999 23:11:58 +0700
From: "B. Pramana" <>
Organization: IN-Light [Indonesian Network of Lightworkers] -
Subject: PAN ALERT: Religious Violence

Dear Fellow Pan Participant,

My name is Bambang Pramana and I live in Indonesia. I have a grave
concern to share with you which I feel is of planetary importance and is
a real crisis.

As you may know from the news, for several weeks Indonesia has been in
the throes of very bloody civil strife between Muslims and Christians.

In the city of Ambon alone, it is reported that more than a thousand
people have been killed, 18 Mosques and 18 Churches burned down and more
than 3500 houses and 1000 shops destroyed. The whole island, with a
population of only 400,000, is a mosaic of roughly 40% Muslim and 60%
Christian, and they are savagely destroying one another.

I am sending this Alert and making this appeal because I think the
great suffering and anguish in Ambon represents only the tip of the
iceberg of a social epidemic on our planet. We have also seen it in
Northern Ireland, Bosnia, the Mideast, Rawanda, India, Somalia, the
Philippines, and many other places where religious and ethnic violence
has ripped deep into the fabric of society and the lives of common

We know that these conflicts often have deep historical roots that
involve ethnic, financial and political issues, and yet there is also
the deeply disturbing element of religion as a point of conflict -
people killing one another savagely in the name of God!

As a spiritual people from many different religious backgrounds I
believe that we, as Light Workers from around the world have a special
responsibility and opportunity to bring healing to this ongoing crisis
in our collective life as planetary citizens.

For this reason I am sending out this appeal to you to join us, your
Family of Light in Southeast Asia, in praying or meditating for the
healing of all hatred, anger and violence between the people of Ambon,
Indonesia - and by extension to all places on the planet suffering from
ethnic and religious strife and violence.

March 18th - the new moon - is the Hindu-Balinese New Year (Saka year
1921) in Indonesia called "Nyepi" - a day of silence. In Bali, where
the Hindus predominate, everyone stays home on Nyepi. There is no
working, no cooking, no fire, no light. It is a day for fasting and
meditation and releasing all negativity. The two weeks from the new
moon until the full moon (coinciding with Passover / Good Friday) is a
cleansing period; from physical (cleaning the garden, home, etc.),
emotional, mental to spiritual cleansing.

April 4th, the first Sunday after the full moon on April 2nd is
Easter, which symbolizes the triumph of light against darkness. And the
two weeks from full moon until the next new moon is a period for
anchoring and establishing all positive energy which culminates on April
17th, the Muslim New Year (1420 Hijriyah).

We are appealing to our family of light throughout the world to join
us for the month from the new moon in March (17th) until the new moon in
April (16th) in building an energetic "bridge of light" which can carry
us out of this planetary nightmare of ethnic and religious violence and
hatred and into a new world of understanding, acceptance, tolerance,
planetary and galactic citizenship and the celebration of our diversity.

We appeal to you to take a few minutes each day, at your convenience,
to visualize all people of goodwill in the world working together to
build this bridge of light out of the darkness of the past and into a
radiant future.

On the final day, April 16th, we call upon all people to take thirty
minutes; from 14:30 to 15:00 GMT (9:30 to 10:00 am New York time) in
prayer or meditation to visualize a column of white light beaming down
into Ambon, Eastern Indonesia, filling the city and its inhabitants with
peace, dissolving all hatred and anger, bringing people back to their
senses and replacing all of the negativity with compassion and

Once we have visualized the restoration of Ambon to sanity, let us see
it beaming in to neutralize and heal all of the other places on the
planet wracked with ethnic and religious violence; restoring peace,
justice and compassion.

As you share this with your own network and others begin to
participate, it will gain momentum over the course of the month from new
moon to new moon so that by the time that we do our synchronized
meditation on April 16th, we will have a very powerful collective energy
built to release into the world at Ambon.

At our website ( , you can
see a map showing the geographic location of Ambon and get more
information about the situation.

We would also like to keep a register of those networks participating.
If you will be asking your network to participate, we would really
appreciate it if you would let us know. Just e-mail me with your name,
geographic location and the number in your network who you are inviting
to participate.

On behalf of those of us holding the light in Indonesia I want to thank you
in advance for your help.

Subject: Calling in the Light

Lightworkers and peacemakers everywhere are being called to become
active and draw in the light. Please continually hold the focus for
peace and direct your thoughts and attention towards Kosovo in former

There is an urgency to mobilize all our resources and direct light to
this area to try to help prevent the situation escalating into a world
wide crisis. It is time for lightworkers to step forward, hold up and
direct the light.

A few months ago March 24th (yesterday) was prophesized as being a
potentially hazardous day for humanity. No one knew exactly what that
meant or where a crisis might occur, now we know and the consequences of
this could extend much further than imaginable.

Sages and mystics have been fortelling of this time and asking people to
turn their lives around to a more spiritual direction, to pay attention
to and take care of the basic needs of humanity instead of being selfish
and turning a blind eye. Those of us who are awake or are in the process
of waking up have a responsibility to help fulfill this task even though
sometimes we may feel as if we are like the blind leading the blind.

Today peace groups, prayer groups and meditation groups all over the
world will be holding peace vigils throughout the day and night and
directing the light towards Kosovo. Please pray for World Peace. Many
spiritual teachers will hold pujas - spiritual ceremonies in countries
all over the world to try to raise and enlighten world conciousness.

A group of lightworkers are also going today to join others in Bulgaria,
close to the border to try to anchor in the light there. It is no
coincidence that the Emmiseries of Light (James Twyman's book) chose to
be in the mountains on the greenline of Serbia/Bosnia meditating twelve
hours a day radiating the light. They referred to it as being one of the
darkest places in the world, one cannot help wondering if they knew what
was going to happen and why they really needed to be there.

Let us keep our hearts open and filled with compassion for the great
suffering that is taking place at this time and for the thousands of
innocent victims including so many young soldiers who are forced to
fight in a senseless war.

Do not underestimate the effect of the contribution that you can offer
in this global plea for help. For it is together that we can create a
burning, bright torch of light. It is not our own energy or power we use
in this but the universal energy. Call in the Christlight, allow it to
fill your whole being and direct it to Kosovo. Try to keep your spirits
high and continue to motivate those around you, there is much work to be

Try to organize groups to come together for prayer and meditation, even
two people together has a far greater strength than one alone. Millions
of people will be praying and meditating especially tonight. We will be
co-ordinating a peace meditation in Nicosia for the next four nights, I
invite you to connect with us in spirit. (Don't worry about time
differences.) Also light white candles all over the house for peace,
keep them going day and night.

Please pass this message on to as many people as you can.

A SIMPLE PRAYER from St. Francis

O Lord make me an instrument of thy peace,
Where there is hatred, let me bring love,
Where there is resentment, let me bring forgiveness,
Where there is discord, let me bring unity,
Where there is doubt, let me bring faith,
Where there is error, let me bring truth,
Where there is despair, let me bring happiness,
Where there is sadness, let me bring joy,
Where there is darkness, let me bring light.
O Master grant that I may desire rather:
To console than to be consoled.
To understand rather than be understood.
To love rather than to be loved.
It is in giving that we receive,
In forgiving that we obtain forgiveness,
In dying that we rise to eternal life.

In November 1998, two of our friends, one English and one Bosnian,

They were able to place this crystal inside an ancient tree at a

When I heard that a poll taken a few days showed that 50%
of Americans couldn't find Kosovo on a map, I was floored.
I am also horrified that the president and the majority
of Senators would support NATO bombing of this sovereign
country, provoking Russia (who possesses substantial
nuclear weaponry), and shattering any semblance of
"peacekeeping." I do not see how bombing a country
into submission creates "peace."
To better understand the Serbian position and what's at
stake here, please go to the web site URL. The historical
origins of Serbs and the connection with Kosovo is described
and why this area is so important to them. PLEASE read it!

Earlier this evening I read an article in the London Times
Drugs money linked to the Kosovo rebels

THE Kosovo Liberation Army, which has won the support of the West for its
guerrilla struggle against the heavy armour of the Serbs, is a Marxist-led force funded by dubious sources, including drug money.

After you're through reading the information, please contact your
congressional representatives and express your views. I am certain you will see: 1.) the U.S. has no business there; and, 2.) Americans cannot permit support of a criminal element (KLA) seeking to defeat a Christian-based sovereign.

When you understand that Russia is an ally of the Serbians, that Russia has
taken a strong stance to protect their ally, and that the Serbs whipped
Hitler's Panzer units in WW II; you begin to understand that the Serbs cannot be
threatened by NATO/Clinton acting like school yard bullies. We have the
potential for a third world war to start here if our country continues to act foolishly and pays no heed to the crucial elements of foreign policy.

Dear Jean,

I have been reading (here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) all the material you have been sending these past months. I am engaged with every idea of love and peace and I do appreciate what you are doing. In fact I do not believe in any spiritual hierarchy, but I strongly believe that the humanism may be reached through the actions of the human being like you and all the people gathered in this network. I believe in acts and facts, and I think that the awakening of everybody about the necessity to have the DIGNITY of LIFE prevailing is the strongest manner to change the world into a place where everybody (including Mother Earth) will have happiness. I believe that it is important to meditate and direct our minds and hearts to awake the desire of peace within every human being. I think that the acts of war and destruction of life came from the leaders we all permit to hold the power to. I also believe that the global peace will be the sum of the majority of people in the Earth that feel peace in their hearts and minds and act accordingly. Maybe the first step to reach peace is everybody that cares change the attitude towards life from their inerself.

Thank you for your initiative.

Subject: New Year's Resolutions

Hello Jean,

I can feel the strong need for PEACE from all the e-mails that you have
received, thus far. I also sense FEAR......I, too, am dealing with it in the
back of my mind, anticipating future unrest, aggression, control, and perhaps
even inhilation of human beings in the Y2k. The rumors of possible martial
law, "death camps", New World Order, Mark of the Beast, etc., is enough to
make anyone alarmed and on edge.........we have families to raise, futures to
be happy and live freely in without this all a fairy tale?
Doesn't anyone out there know they can make a difference for the better?

We put our representives in office to SPEAK for us....are they doing their
job, or are they just doing what they can to stay in office and even abusing
their power, because they have forgotten why they were elected in the first
place! They forgot how to speak for us, folks......We cannot rely on others
in leadership roles to do are bidding...we have to rely on our intuition of
what is going to happen, because of all the information being
gathered.......from us! We, obviously, must care what is to happen to us?

Let's make RESOLUTIONS, now, for Y2K. If everyone would write down ONE New
Year's Resolution for 2000, we would have quite a list to present to our
leaders. We can dream, can't we? Dreams and wishes should be our
goals......Our goals are the PRAYERS for our kindred spirits on this earth.
UNITED PEACEFUL RESOLUTIONS....I like the sound of that!

Love and light,
Debbie in West Virginia

And as a result of sending to Debbie this statement above in response to her letter, here is what she wrote back - to my great delight!...

I am moved to tears, really! I am so excited about us, all of us, actually
doing something.....even just a small part.......of giving our resolutions for
a better world in Y2K!!!! I have just told my husband what I have been
doing.....he didn't know how passionate I was - and AM - to try and do
something, anything...the labor of love, as it were. I want to resolve
problems. My favorite saying is, "There are no problems....only solutions."
Resolutions have been made by generations for selfish reasons, mostly. Losing
weight, finding love, changing employment, having a name it. We
have no time for selfish committments now! We have our world to save....our
freedom to preserve.....our love to give for earth and her inhabitants! I am
now going to show my two sons, Joe-14 and Jon-10, what mom has been thinking
about and writing about. I want them to know, first-hand, what one thought
can accomplish. I want to give them hope for future life and faith to do all
that they wish to do in the coming years. In the HOUR of need and committment
for global peace, OUR contributions and glorious actions and reactions, for
the greater good, will sustain us forever and ever. I want to be on the path
doing something, anything!......But I do not want to be part of the apathy!

NATO Launches Attack Against Yugoslavia

RUSSIA TODAY: BRUSSELS, Mar. 24, 1999 -- (Reuters) NATO Secretary-General Javier Solana said in a written statement on Wednesday that NATO had begun air strikes against military targets in Yugoslavia.

The attack, the first offensive action against a sovereign nation in NATO's 50-year history, proved the 19-member alliance's much-questioned resolve to use force if necessary to bring about a peace settlement in Kosovo.

"I have been informed by SACEUR (the Supreme Commander Europe), General Clark, that at this moment NATO air operations against targets in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia have commenced," Solana said.

Solana said the international community had spared no efforts to achieve a negotiated settlement in Kosovo but this had not been possible.

"Clear responsibility for the air strikes lies with (Yugoslav) President (Slobodan) Milosevic who has refused to stop his violent action in Kosovo and has refused to negotiate in good faith," Solana said.

The alliance chief reiterated: "NATO is not waging war against Yugoslavia. We have no quarrel with the people of Yugoslavia who for too long have been isolated in Europe because of the policies of their government. Our actions are directed against the repressive policy of the Yugoslav leadership."

U.S. warships and B-52 bombers fired cruise missiles against Serb air defense targets on Wednesday at the start of a sustained NATO missile and bombing campaign in Yugoslavia, U.S. defense officials said. They said targets included missile batteries, radar and military communications sites in and outside of Kosovo province.

Russia strongly condemned the start of NATO air strikes against Yugoslavia as an "act of aggression," Itar-Tass news agency said. Tass quoted an unnamed Foreign Ministry source as saying Moscow was weighing up "military-diplomatic and diplomatic steps" in response to the Atlantic alliance's decision. The Foreign Ministry press service was unable to confirm the report.

U.S. President Bill Clinton, speaking in Washington after the air strikes began, said: "Only firmness now can prevent greater catastrophe later."

Clinton, said the United States and its NATO allies took military action "only after extensive and repeated efforts to obtain a peaceful solution to the crisis in Kosovo."

Laying the blame for the strikes on Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, Clinton said the Serb leader violated commitments he made last fall to "stop the brutal repression in Kosovo."

"Instead, his forces have intensified their attacks, burning down Kosovo Albanian villages and murdering civilians. As I speak, more Serb forces are moving into Kosovo and more people are fleeing their homes," he said. "Kosovo's crisis now is full blown, and if we do not act clearly it will get even worse."

Clinton said the military strikes have three objectives: demonstrate the seriousness of NATO's opposition to aggression and its support for peace; to deter Milosevic from escalating his attacks on civilians by imposing a price for those attacks, and if necessary, to damage Serbia's capacity to wage war in the future.

Germany's Defense Ministry said an unspecified number of its Tornado fighter jets had taken off on Wednesday from their Piacenza base in northern Italy. A ministry spokesman, however, gave no details of their destination and did not say whether they were part of any expected NATO-led strikes against Yugoslavia.

Earlier, German television station ZDF reported that at least five fully-loaded Tornado jets took off from Piacenza, the base for German and Italian Tornados.

Warning sirens sounded across the Kosovo capital on Wednesday evening as residents hid at home and braced themselves for NATO air strikes, fearing they might spark street fighting.

The siren rang out over the city for about a minute at 6:55 p.m. (1755 GMT) and again at 7:40 p.m., breaking an eerie calm disturbed by just a few cars racing along empty roads and a few pedestrians hurrying home.

As darkness fell, clouds over the city dispersed, leaving a clear moonless sky. Heavily armed police units in armored vehicles were stationed on key crossroads.

Pristina residents feared the air strikes, intended to ward off a humanitarian catastrophe and force Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic to agree a peace deal with Kosovo's majority ethnic Albanians, could trigger an explosion of anger between Serbs and ethnic Albanians in the city.

Many Serb civilians were believed to be armed and ethnic Albanian guerrillas may have infiltrated Pristina. Recent violent incidents in Pristina and the climate of hatred between the communities have left the Kosovo capital a tinderbox.

"We are all waiting for these eight famous B-52 bombers to show up," said a Serb official, referring to U.S. warplanes that took off during the day.

Warning sirens had sounded for nearly an hour early in the afternoon but it later transpired that they had been switched on as a test.

Thousands of ethnic Albanians and Serbs drove off to the relative security of other parts of Serbia or to neighboring Macedonia. Traffic jammed highways out of the city.

"Basically it's chaos," said one local reporter as he joined the exodus. Hundreds of ethnic Albanian women and children clamored to board a convoy of six buses and around 20 cars which was heading north towards Serbia and on towards Bulgaria.

"The feeling of extreme fear and panic which we've seen up till now in the countryside has reached Pristina," said Baloni Carlisle, spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross, one of the few aid agencies remaining.

"We're very concerned about the humanitarian situation," she added. Aid workers say tens of thousands of people, mostly members of the ethnic Albanian majority, have been made homeless by escalating Serb military activity in the last months.

Heavily armed special police forces set up checkpoints to the west of the city and Yugoslav army tanks dispersed from their barracks for safer positions in the forested hills.

Separatist Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) forces dug into hilltop positions and braced themselves for a backlash by Serbs once NATO cruise missiles hit military targets. Fighting continued on the main Drenica front but died down to the north of Pristina.

Reporters who reached the KLA zone headquarters in Lapusnik, high in the hills of central Kosovo, could hear the rattle of heavy machinegun fire and the boom of mortar bombs landing.

Serbian forces have been pushing into the KLA's Drenica heart lands for several days but KLA soldiers say they have managed to stem the advance. To the north, smoke rose over Srbica, which had burned since Serb forces took it on Saturday.

Near Lapusnik, KLA guerrillas were unaware of the Western decision to bomb Yugoslavia after the failure of last-ditch efforts by U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke to convince Milosevic to back down.

"Is it for sure? That's great news, it's what we've been waiting for," said Refki, 37, a guard at a KLA checkpoint. "But the Serbs will attack us afterwards unless NATO comes in quickly."

NATO currently only plans to send in ground troops if Serbia agrees to the peace deal that ethnic Albanians signed last week. ( (c) 1999 Reuters)

5. It is true. As we go through life thinking heavy
